Q: Who can record at The Yard?
A: Anyone can record here!  We have hosted everyone from the local school singing group to professional recording artists.

Q: How much does it cost to record?
A: Our pricing depends on the specific needs of your project. Contact us for a quote.

Q: Do you charge by the hour, by the day, or by the project?
A: Yes! We are very flexible with our pricing and can accommodate whatever works best for you.

Q: What type of music do you record?
A: We have done more rock recordings than anything else but all styles from rock, jazz, reggae, metal, country, pop, classical and everything in between is welcome.

Q: Can I bring my own engineer?
A: Yes, however a member of the The Yard’s staff will always be present to control access and support your engineer.

Q: Do you just do music recording projects or are other services available?
A: Besides tracking, we are happy to help with a variety of projects including voice overs, foley, soundtracks, transfers, editing, mixing, mastering, etc.

Q: What time do sessions start?
A: We are typically in session from 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM although this can be modified to meet your needs.

Q: Is there someone at The Yard that can play guitar/drums/bass/sing/etc. on my song?
A: We have relationships with artists who we can recommend. It will be up to you to work out any formal arrangements with them however.

Q: Can I come in for a tour?
A: Sure. Just contact us to schedule an appointment.
